On September 12th, the 2025 Shenzhen International Smart Elderly Care Industry Expo and the first “Industrial Bank Cup” Shenzhen Elderly Care Robot Competition kicked off grandly. With the theme of “Intelligent Technology Empowers Elderly Care Services”, this event attracted nearly 100 Chinese and foreign enterprises to compete on the same stage with more than 200 types of elderly care robots.

On the morning of September 14th, the award ceremony of the first “Industrial Bank Cup” Shenzhen Elderly Care Robot Competition was successfully held in the main forum area of Hall 7, Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Futian). Many leaders and guests attended the ceremony, including Zhong Yanni, Deputy Director of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee’s Veteran Cadres Bureau, and Wu Yuanxiang, Party Group Member and Deputy Director of the Shenzhen Civil Affairs Bureau.

In his speech, Wu Yuanxiang emphasized that smart elderly care is becoming the most warm and potential application scenario for Shenzhen’s robot industry, and the first competition is a concentrated display of technology for innovation and technology for good. After joint evaluation by expert judges, senior review officers, and investment and financing institutions, a total of 60 awards were selected in the competition. Among them, the “Top 10 Humanistic Care Award” focuses on the product’s performance in emotional care, elderly-friendly design, service warmth and other aspects, which is a high recognition of the product’s humanistic value.
